C.V. of Saudi Arabia’s new housing minister
Jeddah, Ramadan 26, 1436 AH, July 13, 2015 SPA — Majed bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Hogail who was appointed as new minister of housing according to a royal order today served as Deputy Finance Director at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) from 1990 to 1998.
He was member of the board of directors of a number of companies, investment funds and non-profit organizations, including Al-Jazirah bank, Wafa insurance company, Al-Jazirah and Nass holding, Rafal for real estate developing, Saudi Commercial Arbitration Center, Riyadh chamber of commerce.
He attended a number of training courses, including plans for guaranteeing the foundation’s continuity in emergency cases, financing the agents and activating and integrating the finance administration with the stock market in Saudi Arabia, the effective management.
He obtained the U.S. Accounting Fellowship from New Mexico in 1999, M.B.A. in business administration from the University of Illinois Urbana Champiagn in 1998-1999m program for executives developing (PED) from the IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland in 2007, Bachelor of Accounting from King Saud university in 1985 – 1998.
New housing minister, Northern Borders governor named

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has named Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah bin Musaad as the new governor of the Northern Borders Province in a Royal Decree.
Majed bin Abdullah Al-Huqail was also named the new Housing Minister.
Khaled bin Abdulrahman Al-Essa was named acting Royal Court Chief.
Prince Mishaal’s appointment comes after Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz bin Musaed, one of the longest serving governors, died last week after having governed the province for more than five decades.
