H.R.H. Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz is Vice Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has served as Vice Minister since his appointment in 2011.
Ealier in his career, Prince Abdulaziz served in the Saudi Arabian National Guard for fifteen years in a variety of roles. He also was appointed and served as an advisor to then-Crown Prince Abdullah in 1991. In that role, he was a delegate for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah in regional issues and handled files on diplomatic relations. Prince Abdulaziz also held political and diplomatic tasks and participated as a representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at summits, bilateral visits, and international conferences. In 2004, Prince Abdulaziz founded the Centennial Fund where he currently serves as the President on the Board of Trustees. The Centennial Fund is a nonprofit that works to support Saudi businesses and help young Saudi men and women develop new business ventures. Prince Abdulaziz also sits on the Board of Trustees for King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and on the Board of Trustees of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation, a committee that grants annual awards for literary translations into Arabic, where he serves as Chairman.
Prince Abdulaziz received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Hertfordshire in the U.K.
