Saudi Industrial Development Fund
Ali Al-Ayed is Director General for the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF). SIDF is a specialized financial institution established by the Saudi Government that advances medium to long-term loans to the private industrial sector throughout the Kingdom. The Fund also promotes the development of small and medium enterprises and provides technical, administrative, financial, and marketing advice to borrowers.
Mr. Al-Ayed has more than 34 years of professional experience in project finance and management with SIDF. He also took specialized credit and management training at now-JP Morgan Chase, INSEAD, AMA, Management Centre Europe and IMD. Currently, Mr. Al-Ayed serves on numerous boards including the Arabian Industrial Fibre Company, Saudi Credit & Saving Bank, the National Industrial Clusters Development Program, Marafiq, the Saudi Economic Offset Program, and the Saudi-Egyptian Industrial Development Company, where he serves as Chairman.
Mr. Al-Ayed graduated from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals where he studied Industrial Management.
