Saline Water Conversion Corporation

The Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), an entity under the authority of the Ministry, is in charge of operating the country’s publicly owned desalination plants, and operating a network of water transmission pipelines 4,300 kilometres (2,700 mi) to transport the water in bulk from the plants to the major consumption centers.

Saudi Arabian Airlines started out in 1945 with a single twin-engine DC-3 (Dakota) HZ-AAX given to King Abdul Aziz as a gift by the U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Saudi Central Department of Statistics

The Central Department of Statistics falls under the authority of the Ministry of Economy and Planning and is the principal agency in the Kingdom for the collation, analysis and distribution of statistical information.

Saudi Electricity Company

On 05/04/2000, our company was established as a Saudi joint stock company with a paid-up capital of SR 33,758,632,650 (Thirty three billion seven hundred fifty eight million six hundred thirty two thousand six hundred and fifty Saudi Riyals).

Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF)

The Saudi Industrial Development Fund was established by a Royal Decree issued for this purpose in 1394H. As a funding agency affiliated with the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, SIDF grants medium and long-term, soft loans for private industrial project as well as administrative, financial, technical, and marketing consultancy services to help develop and enlarge the industrial base of the Kingdom.

Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON)

The Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) was established in 2001. MODON is responsible for the development of industrial cities with integrated infrastructure and services.

Saudi National Day

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates its national day on the first day of September 23rd of each year and to commemorate the unification of the Kingdom and its founding at the hands of His Majesty King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, may Allah have mercy on him.
