Majlis Al-Shura

Majlis Al-Shura

The Majlis al-Shura, or Consultative Council, is a legislative body that advises the King on issues that are important to Saudi Arabia.

It is a modern version of a traditional Islamic concept – an accessible leader consulting with learned and experienced citizens – which has always been practiced by Saudi rulers.

Ministry of Economy and Planning

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a planning tradition that spans over 30 years. The formal planning process, which started in 1970 (1390 Hijra), enabled the Saudi Government to make prudent decisions in the allocation and utilization of its resources for development. During the last four decades, the Kingdom underwent tremendous transformation under the eight development plans, which saw the rapid growth of income and living standards of the people, accompanied by dramatic improvements in social and physical infrastructure. Ministry of Education

A formal education system took shape in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia when the General Education Management Center was established in Ramadan, 1344H, which laid out the first plan for a complete educational system.

He sent representatives and received delegations from different countries and signed agreements with them. He contributed to the establishment of several international organizations such as, United Nations and the Arab League.

Ministry of Health

Since the modern state of Saudi Arabia was first founded by King Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud (God rest his soul), public health and disease control were among the government’s top priorities. The creation of the Kingdom’s healthcare system coincided with King Abdul Aziz’s takeover of Al Hijaz and his designation of Mecca as the first Saudi capital

Muslim Brotherhood

Muslim Brotherhood,Arabic al-Ikhwān al-Muslimūn, religio-political organization founded in 1928 at Ismailia,Egypt, by Ḥasan al-Bannāʾ. It advocated a return to theQurʾān and the Hadith as guidelines for a healthy modern Islamic society.
