Norman Soto, Principal, KMD Architects
Norman Soto is a Principal with KMD Architects in their Dubai office and is currently their Health Care Design leader in the Middle East. At the firm, Mr. Soto is involved in the design and construction of Hospitals in Riyadh and Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, providing for the design of world class facilities in a fast paced construction environment.
With over 15 years’ experience in the MENA region and a permanent resident of Dubai over the last eight years, Mr. Soto has built strong relationships with key decision makers in the Government and private sectors in the UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar. He has accomplished the highest level of experience in the design and construction of the Region’s most prestigious health care facilities, including being the Principal in Charge and Project Director for the Al Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi, a 750 bed, 3/4 of a billion US dollar facility to be completed in 2014. Prior to joining KMD, Mr. Soto worked as a Principal with Burn Hill in Dubai for four years.
