Director of SACM E-Services, Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission
Mohammed Alshaalan is Director of E-Services for the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) in Washington, DC. In that role, he is in charge of all e-government initiatives, including strategy and implementation for the initiatives. He also oversees the process re-engineering, automation, and implementation of SAFEER, a system which connects scholarship students with SACM and the Ministry of Higher Education.
Previously, Mr. Alshaalan worked with Advanced Electronics Company and Thales in Paris, managing the production of Laser Illumination and Targeting Pods for the Royal Saudi Air Force. He also worked with Ernst & Young as a Senior Consultant covering government and the private sector.
Mr. Alshaalan received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University and his MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He also obtained PMP-certification as a Project Manager at the Project Management Institute.
