Dr. Khalid Al Ghoneim
Chairman & CEO, Hadaf Holding at Human Resources Development Funds (HRDF)
Dr. Khaled Bin Abdulaziz Al-Ghoneim is the Chairman and CEO of Hadaf Holding Company. At the organization, Dr. Al-Ghoneim is tasked with carrying out initiatives designed to change the Saudi labor market via facilitating Public Private Partnerships. Before joining Hadaf, Dr. Al-Ghoneim served as the CEO of Saudi Telecom Company (STC Group) between June 2012 and March 2013.
Prior to that he led al-ELM Information Security Company (elm.sa) for 10 years. Dr Al-Ghoneim has more than 23 years of experience in Information Technology field. He has widespread experience in Information Technology industry. Known for his business transformational skills, Dr. Al-Ghoneim was responsible for turning around Al-Elm Information Security Company which was a small cost center company to a large profit making organization. He was elected as the Chairman of the board of Saudi Computer Society from 2001 to 2004. SCS was privileged at that time to develop the first national IT plan. Outside of his current role, Dr. Al-Ghoneim also serves as a board member of the National Water Company (NWC) and others.
He graduated with B.S. in Computer Engineering from King Saud University, Riyadh, with first class honors. He then completed his Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
