Dr. Adel Alkeiad
Deputy Secretary General, King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity
Dr. Adel Alkeiad is Deputy Secretary General for the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba). At Mawhiba, he has developed programs like the Mawhiba Schools Partnership, Students Selection Initiative, Communications and Awareness Initiative, and Mawhiba Portal.
Previously, Dr. Alkeiad was the Vice Dean of the Prince Naif Institute of Research and Consulting Services at Imam University. He led research and training projects in higher education on topics such as creativity and excellence programs for university faculty, pedagogical education tracks for the future plan for university education in the kingdom, analyzing social studies curricula in the U.S., and faculty performance evaluations in Saudi universities. He also has participated in local and international conferences and training programs related to education, higher education, professional development, strategic planning, leadership, and giftedness.
Dr. Alkeiad holds a Ph.D. in Education from Pennsylvania State University as well as a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Science in Workforce Education and Development, and a Master of Science in Creativity and Change Leadership.
