King Salman bin Abdulaziz ascended to the throne of Saudi Arabia on January 23rd, upon the passing of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. Today decrees were issued on his behalf restructuring the government ministers, eliminating numerous government bodies, establishing new government bodies and merging the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Education and much more. We provide for your consideration the royal orders including the list of ministers.

Riyadh, Rabi’II 9, 1436, Jan 29, 2015, SPA — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order today, integrating the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Education in one ministry under the name of Ministry of Education.

The Royal Order instructed the concerned authorities to carry out the order with immediate effect.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order today, restructuring the Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as follows:

6- Supreme Council for Education.
7- Supreme Council for Petroleum and Minerals.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order today, relieving Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Makkah Region, from his post.
The Royal Order instructed the concerned authorities to carry out the order with immediate effect.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order today, amending the scale of monthly social security pension in accordance with the attached table.

The Royal Order paid two-month reward to beneficiaries of the Social Security.

The Royal Order also paid two-month reward to the people with disabilities.

The Royal Order included all people with disabilities on waiting lists to the subsidy of people with disabilities as of the date of the Royal Order.

The Royal Order paid an amount of SR2 billion to support licensed societies at the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The Royal Order supported the Council of Cooperative Societies with SR200 million.

The Royal Order provided a financial support for licensed, specialized, professional associations amounting to SR10 million for each association.

The Royal Order instructed the concerned authorities to carry out the order with immediate effect.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order today, supporting all officially-registered literary clubs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an amount of SR10 million for each club.

The Royal Order also supported sports clubs with an amount of SR10 million for each club in the professional league; an amount of SR5 million for each club in the first division; and an amount of SR2 million for the rest of the officially-registered clubs.

The Royal Order instructed the concerned authorities to carry out the order with immediate effect.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order today, approving an amount of SR20 billion to implement electricity and water services.

The Royal Order allocated SR14 billion of the approved amount (SR20 billion) to deliver electricity and an amount of SR6 billion to deliver water.

The Royal Order instructed the concerned authorities to carry out the order with immediate effect.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal order today, pardoning public right prisoners in accordance with the rules mentioned in Interior Ministry Cable No. 46638 dated 07/04/1436.

The Royal Order exempted the pardoned prisoners from fines not exceeding SR500,000.

The Royal Order deported all non-Saudi pardoned prisoners and listed them on the Entry-Prohibition List.

The Royal Order settled financial claims against prisoners, provided that they have not benefited from such a settlement.
