Saudi Perspective on Palestine UN Vote – Prince Turki Interview

This week at the opening of the United Nations General Assembly in New York there will be an airing of the contentious issue of Palestinian statehood. As SUSRIS readers know this news source is not devoted to coverage of the Israel-Palestine issue in general but only in instances where the relationship between the United States and Saudi Arabia becomes connected to it. Such has been the case recently with the warnings from Prince Turki Al-Faisal that a United States veto on the question of Palestinian statehood in the United Nations Security Council will “profound negative consequences” to the relationship.
